  • HOW DO I BOOK?

    A signed contract and paid 25% non-refundable fee will officially reserve your date. Acceptable payment methods include ACH transfer, credit card or check, made payable to “Grain LLC” There is no hold on your event date until both have been received.

  • DO YOU REQUIRE A SECURITY DEPOSIT?

    Yes. A security/damage deposit of $1,000 in the form of a check is required 15 days prior to your event to cover the cost for any damage to property, or loss of property, which may occur during your event. If no damage is assessed on the premises, the Security Deposit will be returned or shredded within ten (10) days.

  • DO YOU REQUIRE EVENT INSURANCE?

    Yes, you will need to obtain and provide proof of liability coverage, with a minimum $1M per occurrence, for the duration of your reservation including all pre/post event activities. This coverage typically costs no more than $200. We love working with services such as www.theeventhelper.com!

  • IS THERE A SERVICE CHARGE?

    An 18% service charge will be applied to all catering and bar packages and a 7.5% Ohio sales tax will be applied to all charges. The service charge covers the use of our equipment, utilities, liability insurance fees, all necessary permits, staff costs, setup and other administrative expenses. This service fee does not include gratuity which, while always appreciated, is never required.

  • WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SETUP AND TEARDOWN?

    Grain Wedding & Event Center will take care of all venue-provided tables, chairs, furniture, bar, and amenities. Clients are responsible for all other décor / rentals with the support of their chosen vendors. We encourage you to hire a professional planner or coordinator to collaborate with your vendor team (e.g., florists, rental companies, and caterer) to manage setup and teardown.

  • DO WE HAVE TO UTILIZE YOUR CATERERS AND BAR SERVICE?

    Yes, we offer an extensive list of exclusive caterers for you to select from! Click here to see a list of all of our preferred caterers and suggested vendors.

  • ARE YOU PET FRIENDLY?

    Pets are permitted in wedding ceremonies or other special events but must be leashed or crated at all times. All animals on property, with the exception of trained service animals, require written permission from Grain Wedding & Event Center. Pets are limited to the Wedding Client only; Guests may not bring pets (unless it is a required service animal).
